I got an update error, is it because it is rooted?

Failed to update software. Server error. It it because its rooted? But i have temp unroot it with superuser..

Yes. Root will prevent you from updating, and it's likely that simply selecting temp unroot (or unrooting) will produce the same results. The update checks the device to make sure everything is stock, and if there is a file which has been changed, or detected, then the update will fail. In most cases you need to fully restore to the factory ROM by flashing the factory ROM with Odin.

Since you are rooted, I would suggest looking for a rooted ROM that is based on the recent update for the device and flash that. You keep root and update to the latest software without restoring to stock.
