When i got the phone it was on 55% and i used it until 8% now i charged it too 100% but theni remembered that the guy who sold me the phone said that i should use it until 0% and then charge it. Is my phone now not good in any way?

The guy who sold you the phone gave you bad battery advice.

Lithium Ion batteries like those in modern smartphones don't have the same problems remembering charge capacity like Nickel Cadmium batteries.

Nickel Cadmium if not discharged and recharged fully could reduce battery capacity.

Lithium Ion doesn't have that issue, but depleting it fully or leaving it fully charged will actually stress the battery and damage the cells. Which will shorten how many charge cycles it can endure. Heat also shortens a batteries life.

BTW, there is a Note 9 discussion area.

Discharging your phone to 0% is not good for it. Other than that charging it when it is convenient is no issue at all. The phone and chargers have circuitry which will prevent damage to your phone if you leave it on the charger even when it hits 100%.
