I hate to say it, but....my epic has a death grip problem

So, just to start out, I'm not trolling or anything like that. I generally really like my Epic, have had few problems, and in fact, I think a lot of the 'problems' people post about on here are BS, and probably just in their minds.

But today I started dropping calls and noticed I had no signal in areas where I previous had. I was driving, so I thought maybe I was losing signal because of that - no big deal.

But when I got home I noticed that holding the phone in the left hand (as is usually the norm for righties) definitely dropped my signal strength. At my house, it will drop from 5 bars to 2 bars or 4 to 1. It takes much longer than the signal loss on Iphone 4, and I've never fully lost signal at home like it did while driving, but there is definitely some attenuation going on there.

I've tried with full and dead battery, on stock DI07 software, and just did a factory reset earlier today for a totally separate issue.

Anyone else want to give it a shot? Maybe I'll get a video posted if I'm not too lazy.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the issue where the signal fluctuates like crazy. I'll try this out later today and see if there's a problem.

My girl started complaining about call being dropped on her way to work, they are normally not dropped at all. Will do some more checking out

Not quit sure the strangle hold I must use, but with 5 bars it goes to 4 and after 30 to 40 seconds it stays at 4. And the way I am holding it is not how I would hold a phone. My palm has to cover most of the back and my thumb most of the side.
