I have 2 chrome casts. I want to sell one but have muddled up the remotes. Will it matter?

You would sell one without the remote but are worried about them being able to sync the remote?? Am I missing something…there won’t be a remote as it is missing???? I have two chrome casts as well and if either came with a remote that’s news to me.

A Chromecast remote is not directly tied to a specific Chromecast device, they're interchangeable between each other. That's why you can still a replacement remote or even use a third-party Chromecast-compatible remote if you need to.
