i have a galaxy s6, NOT EDGE, and i have the same problem with my screen brightness

i realized that outside in the sun my phones screen was very bright, and beautiful

then when i cover the sensor it goes back to normal

i don't have auto-brightness on, and i don't have an edge or edge+

why does my S6 have the same issue, but when i search for the problem on search engines everyone's talking about the Edge and Edge+ having this problem

i have a regular S6 and my screen has the same issue, what's going on?

anyone know how i can fix this? i would absolutely love to have the max brightness like it has in the sun

thank you

short answer is no. you can not have that. there is nothing wrong with your phone. the brightness boost you see when using the phone in bright daylight is a feature of the s6 and you can not activate it manually afaik.

Just use auto brightness then.
