I have a media volume icon on my screen constantly on my tcl straight talk phone and i cant get it t

Can't get rid of the icon when I tap on it it brings up my volume settings and volume screen for text calls and alarms that screen

It might be an Accessibility feature -- check your Settings>Accessibility ​menu.

Can you slide it to the left or right to display the settings symbol for it? Or it could possibly be from a quick settings tile, there are usually some enabled that aren't showing. Pull notification bar down, might have to pull it down twice, then there should be a pencil to edit the tiles. Just a guess

Mine does the same thing! I am forced to restart every time I dare adjust the volume to get it to go away and I lose so much time having to search for what I was looking at or doing and I am fed up with this piece of garbage phone! I need a fix that doesn't have me doing this every time! Heaven forbid I accidentally touch the buttons and BAM... Losing time restarting!? This is the least user friendly android I have ever seen! Especially for neurological disease causing disabilities!

I exhausted everything and mine does it with the only fix, restart every time! This device is terrible!

Welcome to Android Central! You might notice that I had suggested to the OP to show a screenshot so we can see what the icon looks like and where it's located. Otherwise, it's more difficult to provide assistance.

These are lower quality Android phones so yeah I can see Android user experience down the drain compared to flagship phones

Here is the solution...I have the same phone..same problem..for days..just got rid of top left corner small icon 30 mins ago.

Go and reset your app preferences and network settings reset

Settings-System-Reset
To find reset for App preferences and Network reset..

Do Not Do A Factey Reset...

Did not work for me. The icon is still there.

Here is the solution...I have the same phone..same problem..for days..just got rid of top left corner small icon 30 mins ago.
