I have a motoxpure and cast is not connecting

I'm trying to cast to a projector, and it worked once. Now it will not connect again. Yesterday it would not even find the projector, and today it finds it but when I click to connect it disappears and reappears. Seems to be a connection issue not a find issue?

Which app are you using to cast from your Moto X Pure?

How is this projector connected to the local network, if WiFi does the projector use its own internal wireless or are you using a dongle like a Chromecast or a Roku, or is it connected using an Ethernet cable?

Is this set up in a home or business, which also leads to the question if you have access to change/fix settings in the wireless router?
