I have a s9 plus. The video editor stops functioning when I try to save an edited video

I have a s9 plus. I have a recorded video that I am trying to change from verticle to horizontal and save. The flip is successful but everytime I try to save it the video editor stops working. I choose to waitand it never responds. I have tried restarting the phone but it continues. What can I do? Or, must I take it in to be serviced?

Also, are you using an SD card to save your pics and videos?
