So I picked up the ad at my Best Buy to see the TB lol and low and behold it is no where to be found!! The ad is from the 20th and also the buyers guide did not have the Thunderbolt in it anywhere either!! No ad correction memos it just does not exist in these. This is very strange! Either a VERY quick reprint or I do not know. The thunderbolt isn't the only change they have the EVO in here and not the Rocket stick.

They still have that same ad on their site with Tbolt in . You sure you didnt pick up last weeks ad?

HOWEVER
look in the second picture--the phone to the left of the Jabra headset. it's a Thunderbolt. (Evo's are always shown with the primary color wallpaper, and the TB is most commonly shown with that very ugly purple/grey/brown wallpaper)
kind of taunting, no?
this makes me think it's NOT last week's Ad b/c they would have had the same fiasco occur where people would have gone in asking what phone it is/when it's available (just like recently with the appearance of the TB with no "coming soon" tag line)
it's acknowledging people know what phone it is--due to it being featured in this week's original Ad, but still kind of like,
"yeah, i'm not showing as available. i'm just chilling down here in the advertisement for Protection Plan. what of it?"

Yeah it has the case for the Thunderbolt so I know it is not last weeks ad plus it says good from the 20th to the 26th.
Well I got an email from Best Buy about a special Presidents Day sale from the 16-21, so maybe they had a special ad through the 21st?
Well keep in mind that people were making an issue about the ad not stating when it would be available so maybe they just took it out all together simply to not have people get confused or come in before Thursday.
That could be I am just surprised they could change it and reprint the hole batch that quick and also why did others get a different ad at their best buy and not the "re-done" one?
the thunderbolt ad is still in the Online circular for BB as of 4:01pm est..so I dont know about this one.
Look at the two different ads. The one he claims is 'new' has the mobile ad on the left side of the booklet. The one with the TB in it has it on the right side.
If the only issue was the TB, they would NOT spend the energy redesigning an entire spread (left/right pages). They would have just redesigned that one page (probably removed the TB and added the Atrix or something), and not bothered touching the other pages.

"Claims in "new"" Are you freaking kidding me. It is the dang ad! I am not here to post BS and I have a life. So you calling me a liar is total bull!! Look at the ad. There are differences but some is the same. I provided proof of the date so I do not know what more you could possible want!!!!!! This is new look at ALL of the old ads and tell me this is not "new" and then if you find I have an old one then fine although that is not possible. Look at the red mytouch 4g with the same grey bubble. You think they advertise the same special week after week??

The second ad is from a store that doesn't sell Verizon. Any of you familiar with Best Buy know that they are contractually able to sell only THREE of the carriers in each store. That particular store sells Tmobile, Sprint, and AT&T, so they would not be able to sell Verizon as well.
That first ad is from a store that sells AT&T, Verizon and Tmobile, but NOT Sprint. Hence no Evo or Evo Shift.
So there you have it. This isn't some new ad; this is an ad from a store that doesn't sell Verizon in the first place.
