I have an icon without any notifications on the notification bar, how can I get rid of it?

i am have an icon without any notifications on the notification bar

The icon is 'M' with a small red circle at the end of M...even if i scroll down the bar...it says no notifications... I am using lollop 5.1...the icon doesn'resemble any of my apps installed... Please help me out..
