I have and LG Stylo 4 and my flashlight and camera flash wont work.

I have and LG Stylo 4 and my flashlight and camera flash wont work. When i click on the flashlight icon in my notification bar it says it on but it isn't. I even downloaded a flashlight app and when i went to use it it crashed and said unfortunately home has stopped. It did that every time. When im on snapchat or my camera and i put flash on it wont flash either. I want to hear every possible solution before thinking of a factory reset. All help is appreciated!!

The camera module is most likely bad - and the LED (which is what the "flash" is) is probably also bad. (It sounds as if the phone may have suffered some damage to that part of the phone - maybe by dropping it?) The bad parts would have to be replaced (in a shop - this isn't a do-it-yourself project).

If I were to replace the rear camera would that fix the flash? Is the flash in the camera or is it another part? Is there anyway to get the part name or number I need to buy? Thank you.

Are you planning on doing the replacement yourself? I'd recommend bringing it to a repair shop, where they can figure out exactly what needs to be replaced.

I'm doing it myself and I've already found the part. I know that's what's wrong because when I replaced the screen I used a little to much force on the camera and it popped out on the floor. I found the camera and it stated the LED flash was included so I'm gonna get it and see. I just wish I could get a better camera for it. Thanks anyway.
