I have forgot my pattern for privacy mode, how can I recover it?

have a Galaxy S6 and forgot the pattern to unlock privacy mode.

Bring the phone, along with photo ID proving that it's yours (IOW, the account the phone is connected to is your account) to your carrier, and they can unlock it for you.

When you set up a PATTERN, you also have to enter a 4 digit code. If you try to unlock your phone too many times incorrectly with your pattern you will be prompted for that code. If you enter than you can get in and change your pattern. Surly you remember the code? To avoid having to bring it in somewhere?
