Hi!
I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I have just upgraded it from 4.1.2 to the unofficial JellyBean 4.2.2, using Odin.
I wanted to know if I will be able to upgrade to the official JellyBean 4.2.2 after it's released next month?
And if not, how can I?
Thanks![]()

It does not appear that they had you save an image of your old system so you would have something to go back to later if you found you did not like this ROM. It also looks to me like they had you do a dirty flash as I see anything about wipe of your old system etc and then doing the flash. I just may have missed it. I have been thinking of going to CM 10.2 which I have CM 10.1 on my tablet(Samsung Galaxy 7.7 i815) and really like it this was RC1 at the time I flashed it and they did say there were a few issues but I have not found any with the things I use it, I only use it on Wifi as that is all I need. I tether it to my phone with unlimited data. I am just waiting on the final version to come out. I plan on putting CM 10.2 final version(Based on JB 4.2.2) on my S3 when the final version for the S3 on VZW comes out. I like the fact that I don't have all that VZW bloatware or all the Samsung stuff they put on it. I only have what I got from the store and that is about it. I would really like to have touch wiz but I have not really missed it. Good luck with getting the official but I would flash it from a source rather than from your carrier as it should not be loaded down with all the BS the carrier does and you should be able to get google wallet which I can't do with the locked VZW ROM on my phone.I think it is based on the official, it just doesn't have the full S4 features. I got it from here:
