there is only a blank green screen nothing to select or click on

Welcome to Android Central! It can be difficult to troubleshoot these direct-from-China Android TV boxes, since support is minimal and quality control is probably suboptimal. I would normally suggest contacting the manufacturer, but I can't find a website for them. You could try posting over at FreakTab, which has a more robust Android TV box discussion: freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-support
