I have some questions

On my Rezound at home I get 3 bars on the signal meter. I live 8 blocks from a
tower. On my OG droid I always had full bars and on my wifes flip phone and my son's Droid 3 they have full bars. I check on the db's on their phone and it pretty well matches what my Rezound is show. Is it just the way HTC calibrates the signal bar?

Also how do you carry you phone? On a belt clip or in your pocket? When I carry mine in my pocket at work I have it in airplane mode because I do not get a very good signal in the building and I have noticed it gets a little warm not hot just warm enough I notice it. I would like to carry it on my belt but it is not aloud by our company.

Also for those how use NFL mobile I can not it to work for nothing. When I launch the app it keeps telling me that it is unavailable at this time please check back later and when I launch it on my son's Droid 3 it works. Not sure why that is but something is keeping it from working.

Anyway it's a great phone and I am just trying get it the little things about lined out.

Signal: Are you talking 3G (Droid) and 4G (Rezound)? Could be a non-4G tower. If you're comparing 3G - 3G it could be the phone... Try a factory reset, if that doesn't work...Exchange the phone for a new one.

Carrying: In my pocket always on 4G. If you get poor reception and put it in airplane mode it shouldn't be getting hot at all. Try a factory reset, if that doesn't work...Exchange the phone for a new one.

I did change it for a new one. The first one was fine for a couple of days then I went to pick it up and it was real hot. After that the battery would only last 4 hours no matter what I did and the phone was always warm and if I did anything with it at all it started getting hot so I returned it and they gave me another one. It was the like the processor was running as hard as it could all the time. Well scratch the NFL app I just looked at my phone and there was an update for it. Works fine now. The reception is on 3G because our tower does not have 4g yet.On both Rezounds they had 3 out of 4 bars. That's why I thought it was strange when I am looking out my window right now as I type this and I can see the tower. I was just wondering why it was like that when all the phones in our family have full bars except my Rezound.

i had a dinc2 briefly next to my droidx. the moto showed full bars while the dinc2 showed 2 bars. the dinc2 actually consistently had more signal strength measured via db. nothing crazy but like -89 vs -93 or thereabouts.

different handset makers calibrate the signal bars differently.
