What device do you have? Is it a Straight Talk device or an unlocked device from another carrier?

What type of Straight Talk SIM do you have? AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon?

And if it's not a Straight Talk phone, did you follow the directions about changing the APN settings?

Two things here, 1st is to make sure that you have the correct APN settings setup in your phone, and 2nd is to make sure that mobile data is enabled on your phone while trying to send or receive pictures or any kind of MMS as they are transferred over the data network.. MMS and pictures will not process over WiFi only, needs the data connection..
