Help me...I have the original droid...Im switching to the incredible or the X...why should I choose the incredible over the X? Or vice versa? Could any one offer two or three reasons for either? Im really torn here!
You're the one that needs to post the reasons for us to provide meaningful recommendations. What do you want/need? Selecting a device is always about finding what suits you the best. Otherwise you might as well flip a coin.
Why are you switching?
Do you like the magnet feature with the original droid?
Do you like vanilla, blur or sense?
Do want to have a vcr or a beeper in your pocket? (had to poke fun a bit)
Either device you can't go wrong.
I hate Motorola. I'll never recommend one of those. When I had the choice, I was debating between the Dinc and the Fascinate. Went with the letter, but I love the Dinc too.
My dad got the dinc and I got the x. I like the UI more of the dinc and the phone is pretty snappy.. the X seems to take better pictures and the screen really is alot easier on the eyes and the keyboard is so much easier to type on.. everything.. the battery life seems to be better on the x as well. It really comes to what size phone you want. Go to the store and test out both of them I keep my x in my pocket no problem and I'm out working out doors most of the day (12hrs)
We have already seen the leaked Verizon screen that shows both will be EOF (End Of Life) on March 31, 2011. They have the same clock speed and Megapixels and run the same software.
These are both really nice phones with one big difference: Do you want a big screen or medium screen?
And as to size...
The Droid X is 82.7 cubic centimeters
(65.5 x 127.5 x 9.9 millimeters)
The Incredible is 82.2 cubic centimeters.
(58 x 118 x 12 millimeters)
The volume they take up in your pocket is almost identical. Do you want a 3.7" or 4.3" screen?
My best suggestion is to go to the store and ask if you can sit down and play with them both for some time. Pick the one you like best and try it out. If you are not happy exchange it within 30 days.
Phones are like shoes. No one else can tell you what will feel best to you.
