I bought a Huawei P20 from Paris while I was visiting back in September. The dilemma is that I live in Canada. So European Huaweis got their phones updated in November 2018,and then Canadian Huaweis in January-February. It's already May and I still haven't received my update! I talked to Huawei US & Canada and both of them said there's nothing they can do and it's up to the European Huawei. I emailed the British Huawei and they never responded.
Due to the time difference I was never able to live chat with the French huawei. I don't know what to do! If I were to place a European sim card, change my location in my phone, account and mock app. Would that work? Any other advice I'm all ears.
