I installed Mybackup Pro on my android to factory reset my phone. I'm not tech savvy. Now what?

I'm trying to do a factory reset on my android cell phone. I'm afraid I have a virus. But I don't want to lose my contacts, pictures, etc. I installed My backup Pro and I think I backuped my data and apps. I'm not sure how to check if I did it right, and what to do next. I'Venever used this or reset my phone and I'm not tech savvy at all and I'm not sure I know what I'm doing.
