I ditched my S5 for the Note 4 this evening!!!!! And although it's only been a couple hours with it, I couldn't be happier.
I saw the Note 4 the day the demo units when on display, and thought to myself I'd possibly regret not waiting for it and getting the S5 instead. While I loved my my S5, there were still a lot of quirks with it that made me think about switching. I thought about a different device, ie the Moto X for a more native android experience but I'd spent time with the Note 4 and knew I loved it, my friends who have it love it, and many many many positive reviews made me feel this thing would fit my mobile lifestyle and needs.

Camera is INSANE in low light compared to the S5. And the fluidity of Android on such a large screen is awesome, so far the native TouchWiz isn't much of a bother at all compared to the S5. There were a lot of other factors that made me change my mind as well.

Anyway this thing is a beast. Id spent enough time with store demo units and friends phones so I knew I'd like it, but it's a different feeling actually owning one.

Ok. I'm done. That's all. Thanks for letting me share my exuberance :D

I hope you enjoy this device I had s5 and moved to note 4 and liked it so much
I had issues with wifi on the s5.
I like touchwiz at least it's not Laggy for me on the note 4 lol.
Yeah, the camera in the Note4 is super.
I hope you enjoying your note 4

Enjoy your Note 4 is so awesome. Never had issues with my S5 saw the Note 4 and had to have it when released.

Diggin this Note 4

I was just going to start a thread asking about the S5 vs Note 4.
I'm just going back and fourth as what to get.
I love my Note 2, but I've been kinda wondering if this time a small drop in size might serve me better.
.
What are some of the other things that make ones prefer the Note 4 over the S5?

I made the move a couple of months ago Note2 to Note4 considerably faster and better screen.
Only one draw back the Note4 has MirrorLink 1.1 native so now if I plug the Note4 into the usb infotainment system in the 2015 Legacy the Note4 is useless. So all my interfacing has to be done through BT which disables MirrorLink and have to charge the Note through 12v adapter.
With the Note2 which I kept version 4.2 and started MirrorLink app which had version 1.0 I could run Waze through my vehicle head set.
If you do not need that one item then Note4 is the way to go.
Now I need to wait hopefully for Subaru to update MirrorLink.

Welcome and enjoy tour Note 4, It is truly the best, true phablet on the market. Be sure to watch the videos on tips and tricks for the note 4 along with S-Pen tips and tricks. The Pen is a very handy tool id used daily. ENJOY!!!

Enjoy it. You won't regret it.

I keep trying to convince my wife to make the switch. She won't because of the size of the Note.

Just traded in my m8 for a note 4. Best decision I ever made.

I upgraded to the note 4 as well coming from an M8. admittedly I was very nervous making the change since the M8 has been such a great device. After a few hours All my concerns went away ! I really like this phone !!!

Had a Note 3 and said I would resist the temptation to get the 4 and wait for the 5 but reading all the great reviews got the best of me. The Note 3 is no slouch but the 4 is just so much better. My wife is constantly asking me to take pictures because they come out better than if she took them with her 3. Don't see myself updating every year but I am happy I made the exception last year.

I felt the same. I really wanted a bigger screen though. After seeing that the m9 was pretty much the same as the m9, I jumped to the note 4.
