I just flashed the new update. How can I flash back and just root instead?

Both of my backups failed so my phone is practically bare. Is there a way for me to remove the update? If so, what would be the easiest way for me to root my phone once I revert?

However it will not bring back any apps, games, or saved data you had prior to the update. If the install erased everything it's just like formatting your hard drive.
