I went to the Verizon store wanting a 32gb card and expecting to pay $150 cause I'm wanting it for my Evo. And I go in there and they are just selling the card for $100 outright with a Droid X purchase and my sister has Verizon and gets a 25% discount on accessories cause she has had an account for a while with them. So I paid only $75 for my 32gb card. They said at the Verizon store the $100 promotion ends today. So try to get it while they are cheap!

You missed out. The other day they were selling them for $50 without the discount.

Really? That's a good deal! I didn't know bout it and figured to let other people know bout it

I'm going to wait till maybe around Christmas time when these babies drop to about eighty bucks.

Looks like they are available online for $100 with free overnight shipping. Class 2 is just too slow though. I want at least a class 4 card, but I don't think there are any 32gb class 4 cards out yet, at least not for a reasonable price.

It's not gonna worry bout it being Class 2, the 8GB Cards (Samsung and SanDisk brands) that come with the Evo are Class 2. I don't need to worry bout the writing speeds too much. It's not like I copy right before I go out. So the speeds don't worry me too much.

that was a mistake and was only available for a few hours....thats when you buy at LEAST 2. IDK about how high the class will go with these since they had to sandwich 4 8gbs together and shave them down to the point of them almost being too fragile. if i were taking high speed photos or something class may matter, i like space.

My concern is when Froyo rolls out and apps start getting pushed to the SD card it will be slow. Probably not a big deal though. I plan on upgrading my 8gb card to a 16gb Class 4 or higher when Froyo is set to roll.
