i just got a replacement s4,how do i get apps that i had on my old phone that was destroyed,?

i did not back up my old phone,i was able to retrieve my contacts but i don,t know how to get apps other than what came with the new phone. foe example i had weather bug with a map & accuweather with a map & was able to get weather in desired locations.Also i can,t get the wallpaper i want ,there are not many choices that came with the phone.i,m not very well versed with this new technology &would appreciate help thank you

You should be able to go into play store app and see list of apps you've previously used, then just pick the apps you want on replacement phone.
