I just received my new Samsung Galaxy S7 and need to bypass activation screen

The help desk is closed over the weekend and I need to activate it. I am upgrading from a S5 to S7. Since the SIM cards are different sizes, I can't use that. Can someone point me to how I can get past the Verizon setup screen and connect to wifi so I can at least begin to transfer info from my old phone to the new one? Many thanks in advance.

Why do you need a sim? When I restore mine i usually leave them out. No particular reason. It has never forced me to install a sim. Could it be a Verizon issue.
Is it new or used?
