I have read a lot about cleanROM, Omega etc. All I really want is to get rid of all the Sprint and Samsung apps! The S4 is fast don't get me wrong, but I want the extra storage back! While I am at it, why not free up some ram while killing start up apps. I have the MF9 update and plan to use chainfire as a root solution. While the App to SD helps, I feel I can reclaim a decent amount of space my removing bloat.
My question is if I root can I simply uninstall what ever I want via settings? That seems to simple. I am willing to try anything at this point. A sprint update reset all of my home screens and that was the last straw!!!!
If I am able to clean my install up, can I make the clean version the firmware version? Or will I have to re clean it if I need to restore? Restoring isn't a big deal since I use Helium.
Any help is appreciated. Please help me kill Sprint and Samsung software!
