I'm not intentionally using voice search, but I keep seeing things based on what I said aloud days ago. O_o;

There are two camps on this one. First says that you're hyper sensitive to noticing things that you recently talked about and the phone is just reflecting things that you've searched or things you may have seen subconsciously and only notice consciously after talking about it. The other camp says, your phone is 100% listening to you. There are tons of videos on this, and here are a few that will either put your mind to rest or lead you down a rabbit hole to conspiracy town.

NO

Stop It

Personally I think they are listening because of the sheer number of times I've mentioned something off-handedly and that evening or the next day, but usually later that same day, something about it will show up. I've had this happen with videos I've talked about, and suddenly it will reappear. I've 1000% has this happen with products and services I've talked about. It's all fun and games until they come for ya over something you talked about.

Let us know what you think.

I get ads all the time for women's shoes. That means my bride is shopping. That means she and I are on the same Wi-Fi network. We don't discuss her footwear until after it arrives.

Before I deleted all my social media accounts I would often get ads on them for things I never searched for but had discussed with family or friends. Not sure if it's just the social media apps listening or the phone (or a combination of the two) but I firmly believe "they" are constantly listening to us. If I wasn't so addicted to the conveniences of modern day smartphone life I would try an alternative OS like Graphine ... but Google has sucked me in LOL.
