I would say it is a big upgrade for me simply because of the better battery life.

ikr! I get 4-5 hours on screen(mid brightness) before I only got 2-3 hours!

Manual, I never was a fan of auto-brightness on my iPhones and sure as hell am not a fan of it now.

Also I use power toggles to keep the brightness at mid during the day and low at night(I stay up till 11 on my phone typically)
