I like my S9 more then my S10

So i noticed we dont have a notification light like my s9 plus did and im gonna miss that a lot as i would wake up and look over at my phone to see what color the light is plus its cool. i honestly thought the front facing camera on the s10 plus was gonna be the notification light but i guess its not The s9 plus had that hard press home key button built in the screen at the bottom in the center and i miss pressing it when my screen is locked i go and press it and it wakes up the screen but now with the s10 plus in order to turn my lock screen on i have to press the power button then my screen turns on and i can get into my phone which really sucks. I know there is the cool finger print on the s10 plus but i dont like using finger print so i wish the s10 plus still had the hard press home key button. I miss the adaptive display option in screen mode on the s9 plus to be honest the screen looks a bit whiter then my s10 plus even with the screen mode on vivid with the advance settings adjusted. If you put both phones next to each other with the brightness all the way up the s9 plus looks a bit whiter which i like.

But on the bright side the s10 plus camera and battery seem much better then the s9 plus. i also got the prism white which is a awesome color and makes me feel like i upgraded and i was able to get the Samsung buds which i cant wait to get.

You can double tap the screen to wake the screen as well. You don't have to use the power button to wake the device up. Or you can leave AOD on all the time to see notifications.

Double tap is easier to do then press the home button. I had both the so plus and note 9. And it's easier to do double tap.

I like my Note9 better because it is physically larger. I like a big phone, gimme a Samsung in the Nexus 6 body

but thats only if you have aod on you can double tap the screen but i dont want to use aod.

You don't have to have AOD for double tap to wake. It's a separate setting

There is no need for led light notifications any longer if you have AOD enabled for notifications.. I don't see why this is such a big issue with some people.

It should be on by default so you shouldn't have to turn it on. Try tapping anywhere on the black screen twice.

I personally don't like AOD. Much rather a notification LED. I bought the phone anyway, but I do find myself missing being able to just glance at my phone and know what type of notification I have.

AOD is not a substitute for the LED. They are not used in the same way.
