I lost a downloaded video, how can I get it back?

I downloaded a video from my computer to dropbox to my nexus 7. I thought it should come up in Gallery, but I can't find it Please help me if you can.

Do you have drop sync or similar app? You need to sync your N7 with dropbox.

It may not be a format that is recognized.

It is synced, I checked my N7. I have downloaded a video slideshow made in Windows Movie Maker to the N7 before that I had no problem dropping into and taking out of dropbox. It is a 3.wmv format. The one I am trying to get now is just wmv made the same way does that make a difference? It shows that it has been downloaded and added as favorite. That usually means it is in the gallery, however it is not and I do not know where to look for it. I have done this several times over and over with the same results. thanks so very much for you help.

I think what she's asking is how to locate any file on the tablet. On a PC, you click on the "C" Drive and have access to all folders on the computer. How does one go about searching through the Nexus 7?

Look into the directory that your sync application points to.

I found the video, it is now an MP3 , it only plays the music and it sounds like Mickey Mouse on speed. Is it because I also need to download the THM? So when I open dropbox in my N7 and try to download the blue star comes on when I click on favorite, but the blue download bar does not appear and go across as normal, then it is not downloaded. this happens all the time, can u help please?
