I am sorry for the people that seem to keep having issues with theirs but I have had mine from day one and its been nothing but amazing. I think I have had 2 or 3 reboots in that time (usually from an older app) and has been dropped plenty (without a case) but still keeps chugging along.

I did have to get the extended battery but that had the added benefit of making the phone more comfortable to hold (stop making super thin phones, curves are good :).

Anyone else as in-love with this phone as I am.

Now if only i could figure out how to properly use Tasker...

Do you use it in a major metro area or an area that otherwise gets a strong 4G signal?

Same here. I've never had a random reboot other than the time I flashed a custom kernel and that was only once. This is the best phone I have ever used, and embarrassingly, I've probably owned 30 different phones in the last 8-12 months alone.

I do. Chicago and its suburbs. Usually 80% of the time I'm in 4g netting 16-32mbps. 3g when inside concrete buildings or the like.

I am out in the sticks in Alabama (don't ask) and my 4G coverage is really good. I have used it in NYC, Baltimore and South Carolina with great results.

Same here, I have had every model android on Verizon along with the iphone and palm pixi (poor little guy didn't make it lol)

I had to replace my first GN and ROM'ed my second one. The second one works pretty well, but in all honestly, I'm not that impressed with Android. I wish I could put webOS on this phone, but I can't. I still use my Palm each day as my alarm clock, a little music listening and check the occasional email with it. I still like it enough that every once in a while I wonder if I should activate it and sell the GN. I think it's absolutely crazy that I can even think that, but I do. I don't like the Palm phone and it's little screen and slider design much at all so it's all about the OS.

So I can say that I like my GN and will continue to use it, but I'm not in love with it because I'm still disappointed with Android in general. I'll probably give stick with the phone for a year and if I'm still not digging ICS I may try Mango or iOS. A lot can change in 12 months right? :)

But that's not a galaxy nexus problem that's just you not liking android. Its hard to switch os when your so use to another one. In your case, webos

Right, I love the phone itself for the most part. I suspect that the radios aren't the best, but saw enough of an improvement with the 4.0.3 ROM I'm using that I don't think they are bad. It's a great phone, I'm just not enjoying it as much as I had thought I would.

I'll also add that I'm getting great battery life on the 4.0.3 ROM too. I think most user issues will be solved with the next update or by flashing a new ROM.

comments like this really make me want to update but I am trying to be patient and wait for the "official" update.

I love my Nexus, I have never had a random reboot, I've never had data connection issues, I've never had the mic cut out, etc.

The only problem I've had is an occasional ear-piercing screeching sound when I'm on the phone with my wife. For some reason it's only when I'm talking to her, it also happened with my Droid X though, so I'm not 100% sure it's a phone issue.

So far my GN has been about perfect .I have no complaints to speak off that has EVER made me want/ or need to return this phone.

I admit I did have 1 reboot the first couple days I had it got it on Dec.15 launch day .I tracked that down and turned out to be an app causing it removed offending app ;) ,I havent had 1 reboot in just over 7 weeks now.So no reboots

I haven't updated to the 4.0.4 radios although I did download them.My signal is fine with the 4.0.2 radios.I live just inside a 4g area. I'm usually on WiFi's when at home. I work in a 3g area, usually turn my 4g off at work since it is a 3g only area.So no radio issues and no mic cutting out or no screeching sounds.

I admit the speaker was kinda low but I changed my ringtone to one I got of zedge it that solved that issue. As far as my notification sounds go I found 2 that are louder then the rest(Polaris,Procyon) and stuck with those stock notification sounds for now. I dont have to use any 3rd party app to increase my ringtone or notifications. So no hard to hear sound issues.

PS : And great battery Life :)

Once you are unlocked and rooted you can just flash back to stock and take the update. I plan on testing the update as soon as it's released, but in the mean time, I using another ROM.

Came from Palm Pre Plus. I was happy to get away from that OS. Doesn't have nearly as many helpful apps and you just can't do nearly as much IMO. It does have a certain slickness but I often felt hampered by the hardware.

I love my Galaxy Nexus! :) I've had a handful of random reboots, but I chalk it up to apps and move on (especially cuz the boot screen is so pretty! I can get lost in it and meditate for the minute reboot lol). I was happy with the GNex, and then I rooted and flashed CNA and now I'm in love with it :D

I'm with the OP. I've had 1 reboot (that I've noticed) and I have had no drop calls and no data drops (that I've noticed)

I use pandora all the time in my car and the navigation too. I got my phone directly from google, so it came loaded with 4.0.3 (I am not rooted).

However, I do not run 4g as it is a major battery killer and I haven't found a need for speeds that fast to stream music or view webpages.

Coming from a iphone 4s, I am very pleased with this phone. Remember, we are on version 4.0 of the operating system. If you can't handle a few bugs here and there, you should not have bought a phone with a new OS. Stick to Gingerbread until 4.1 is released.

I've been thrilled with mine, coming from ios, its a joy to use and the screen is fantastic.
I've had no issues with it at all.

James.
