I love this thing!

So, I'm not even finished with my first 24 hours and I am loving this watch. This IS a smart watch. It looks like a lot like a luxury watch.

Screen is gorgeous and incredibly responsive. The battery is just insane. I took mine off the charger at 8:49 PM and as of 4:34 AM it is 74%. Ambient screen and tilt to wake are on. Data was on, but about half of that time was set to 3G, but it is currently set to LTE. Brightness is at medium.

I'm going to use this as an excuse to finally start my vlog, so I will go into more detail in that.

What do you think so far?

Johnson212, you still getting this good battery life? Had mine off charger from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 and was down to 30%? Maybe it's the clock face I am using? Had GPS and ambient off the whole time???

I've probably averaged 3-4% drain per hour in everyday use in always on mode, without GPS tracking. With GPS tracking during runs, bluetooth music, audio feedback, I've probably averaged 25% an hour, but this varies greatly depending on the cell/GPS reception and the number of notifications/texts during the run. (Original release since November)

Mdw1995 Thanks for the info.

I have noticed a few variations. When I run the self checkout machines, then it lasts a long time. If I'm changing sales tags and my wrist turns around more, then I get less because of my screen. I also turned the network down to 3G.

Throw in some well timed usage of the theater mode double tap and it works really well

Only thing I don't like about it is the AMOLED display because you can't use it always on. Ideally I think a smartwatch should have a transflective display like Sony smartwatch 3 or Pebble for good always on daylight visibility. Sure the watchfaces won't look as good, but what difference does it make if instead the display is empty most of the time.

I use my Nov edition with always on. No problem at all. The default setting is always on. The watch will use black and white watch face most of the time.

That's good to hear that ambient works. I would like to have that while charging on the nightstand for bedside clock also.

No, it is not possible. When charging, it will display a special charging screen for 1 minute or so then turn off.

You mean OLED? I leave mine on ambient and I still get an awesome battery life

If you want screen on for night clock, try enabling developer settings
settings -> about -> tap build number 7 times to enable -> back to main settings -> developer options -> and there is a setting for stay awake while charging
