I miss Google Feed

you have to play with setting , I believe in upper right corner can reset defaults ....but if you long press Nova on screen go to widgets should still see Google at a glance stock widget under Google

Awesome found it. Now I'm happy the only thing missing for me is the Google feed being dark mode other than that I think I have it all. Thanks again.

I use to use nova on my Samsung devices to get that stock Google look .

Actually, Nova Launcher (and others for their launchers) have released a companion app that allows you to add Google feed to Nova Launcher.

But if you want a News aggregator that is built in natively, then Evie launcher is the one you want.

Pretty much every good third party launcher app now has the Google feed support with the companion app which is great. On Pixel I still use the pixel launcher but on others phones I switch between Nova, CPL (custom Pixel launcher), Hyperion, Action launcher etc. They all have Google feed support via companion app install outside of Google store.

Question on Nova Launcher, when pulling up on the home button to see recents, is there a setting I'm missing to have the same animation as the pixel launcher? The default settings do this weird thing where recents just fade in.

What is the animation for the Pixel launcher in this event?

It does this zoom out/ shrinking animation. Odd thing is that it does it when you're in an app and swipe up but from the home screen it just fades in.

I just realized I turned off all animations in developer settings, is this why I dont see anything when going to recents?
