I miss the volume control on the lock screen of my Droid!

So there are a lot of things that I am finding were designed better on my Droid. I really miss being able to hit the power button in the morning and slide the lock screen slider to the left to put the volume on silent. Is there an app that I could put on the home screen that will do that? I really like that it stayed locked on my droid so I could hit the power button, slide and put it back in my pocket. I realize I could put a different lock screen on the phone but I'd prefer not to do that. So far, however, I have not found anything that will work for me.

Thats more of a Nexus lock screen you are talking about.
I looked the Amaze over and didnt see anything you could do like that.

Only thing I can see that you could do would be download a volume control app from the market
like the free "Volume Control +" and place it as one of the four lock screen app icons.

Volume Control + User guide

Thats the only thing I could come up with.

Or get the Galaxy Nexus when T-Mobile releases it.

;)

HTC's Profile widget would be great, but can't be put on the lock screen. But you could put it on the default home screen. :-\

That's the way I have it set up now. I think I'm going to have to switch launchers so I may as well switch lock screens too.
