The thunderbolt has Been out for a while so I think I can safely say this. This phone is so disappointing you me. I've watched news of this phone since the rumors of the Incredible HD. And this phone was hyped up to be "The phone after your dream phone. " and hasn't lived up to the hype in the least.

Some of my dissatisfactions in this phone are :

1.No sense.com support.

2.Sense 2.0.

3.No unibody

4.This was the first lte phone and didn't work the way it should had.

5.Major bugs which the "solution" only worsened .

6.It was rushed and that is apparent.

7.No dual coring.

8.Doesn't have 1gb of ram.

9.It shipped with a year old version of android.

10.No Skype.

11.No Netflix.

12.So much bloat in it.

Please don't flame me. I've never flamed any of you.

I have been fine with it during the month I have had it. I get great 4G at home and work. I get about one reboot a week before and after the update. It seems very fast and I do not use sense. I will eventually root and get rid of the bloatware.

I will not flame as everyone's experience and expectations are different. What you have experienced is honest and hopefully nobody will put you down for it.

Riddle me this, is there another phone and network that you believe is better?

Best network + one of the top 5 phones = best option

1.No sense.com support./ Not cool enough to mind.

3.No unibody/ No biggie.

4.This was the first lte phone and didn't work the way it should had./ No surprise.

5.Major bugs which the "solution" only worsened. /I agree.

6.It was rushed and that is apparent. /I agree.

7.No dual coring. /Not a big deal.

8.Doesn't have 1gb of ram. /Has more than most.

9.It shipped with a year old version of android. / They all flippin do!

10.No Skype. / Not a big deal.

11.No Netflix. /Not a big deal.

I like the phone for what it can do for me.
I wouldn't get too wrapped up in specs, unless there is some specific and quantitative improvement that you feel will be perceptible for specific uses.
The EVO 3d does look pretty sweet... but it's not out...
I'm pretty sure we'll have some sweet apps in a few months. Netflix will eventually come, and I'd rather use LTE for that than the other slower networks.

Better Is relative . But yes G2x, Sensation, Galaxy s2, Infuse, Evo 3D.
HTC Thunderbolt does have unibody construction. However I see your point. The phone has not lived up to the hype furtherore, did not do much to differentiate in form factor to rest of HTC's line up. Still the phone is one of thetop android phones in the single-core department. The HTC Thunderbolt unfortunately is first LTE devices and is proving to be a test device for all future LTE devices for Verizon. The HTC Thunderbolt being a test device leaves the first time buyers with all bugs to deal with. Hopefully bugs get weeded out soon and the promised updates/features as well.

P.S
Hopefully Cyanogenmod can crack this phone and bring us CM7 and maybe even CM8(Ice-Cream Sandwich)
A CM7 HTC Thunderbolt would be amazing smartphone.

Cm8 will be a Godsend. And Thunderbolt doesn't feature a unibody, we discussed that in my thread and HTC makes no mention of it. And they make a big deal of thier unibodies .

Well in many video reviews they mention unibody construction. One of the video reviews mention the phone unibody construction is hidden except for bottom back of the phone.

Well what kind of reaction were you aiming for? I mean you come into the forum ripping the phone that many people like myself are very satisfied with and you expect us to just go along with it?

It seems like your expectations were a little too unrealistic, especially being that this phone is only 3 months old. You have to understand that growing pains were to be expected for Verizon's first 4G device. It's not a perfect, but it's the best phone for Verizon right now and will continue to be for at least another year.

We all know the Sensation has better specs than the Thunderbolt, but you can't play the wait game in mobile tech forever. Really, how much better can it get than what we have now for the near future. 3D is a gimmick, dual core won't be optimized for the OS anytime soon, Gingerbread and Sense 3.0 is already being ported to the Bolt as well. Other than some miraculous improvements in battery technology I really don't see anything on the horizon that will blow this phone out of the water anytime soon.

Some reviewers are sometimes wrong.

True but I still looking for video because it pretty creditable source. Also even those Verizon or HTC Thunderbolt does not mention does not me it does have unibody construction.

In case you didn't read everything I've followed this phone since it was a rumor. I'm in no way trying to discredit this phone. You are acting unreasonable because you can't take your precious device has flaws. Big ones at that.

None that I have experienced.

I know that's not what you wanted to hear (read), but it's the truth.
