I need an new screen but can't understand why...

Why are the replacement screens for the samsung J5 2017 so expensive compared to almost all other replacement screens even including the ones for the J5 2015 and 16 and also a lot of other phones which are very similar.

I Can't seem to find one that is less than £75...If someone can help me find something cheaper or even an aleternative that will work i would be very grateful.

Probably because they're not very available yet. There's one (one advertiser who has at least a few of them - it says "more than 10") on the US eBay site for $98.57, which is about £70.95.
