AC Question
I have recently bought a Moto G5 in part because my old iPhone 5s had run out of storage and I wanted to be able to keep adding music to my phone, so I thought I'd just buy an android an purchase a micro sd card for extra storage. However, things have turned out to be more complicated than this. All my music is on Apple Music, downloaded, and I first just tried to used the sd card as external storage, but it gave me no option to move any of the app data to the sd card. So then I decided to format it as internal storage. Once I did this my storage is displayed to me the the two categories, Internal Shared Storage (Which has 24.6 gb total) and my samsung sd card, which after formatting had taken on 19 gb of data but still had 40 gb free. When I chose to download my music to my phone it just filled up the internal shared storage and then stops downloading, with my phone telling me I was out of storage, despite there being a bonus 40gb free on my sd card. I was under the impression that once formatted as internal storage I would be able to store app data on the sd card and the sd card's memory would kinda merge with the phones so I wouldn't have to dictate where what data is stored, but obviously I'm off about that. I want to know if I there is anyway to store this app data on the sd card, after making the sd card internal memory I tried to find a way to save Apple Music on the sd card ;instead of in "internal shared storage" but could not find a way. Is there a way? Or is it impossible for any part of apple music to be saved to my sd card? What is the point of formatting the sd card to internal storage if certain apps are still not going to be able to be saved on them? Any info would help, I'm really just lost, thank you
