i need help with my htc rezound asap!!

my htc rezound died yesterday, so i put it on the charger and now it wont hold a charge correctly. not only that but the orange charge light keeps coming on, saying that its charging, then when i turn it on the white screen comes up, then the beats screen, then the lg screen and then my homepage comes on but i can only connect to the homescreen for a couple seconds. after this it happens like 2 more times then the orange light just blinks again because its charging and then it just happens over and over again. i got this phone about a month ago! i dont know what to do! please please please help :'( im desparate to know whats wrong with it!

Short answer:
1.) Take back cover off; boot up phone
2.) in dialer, put in *#*#4636#*#*
3.) hit Phone Info
4.) Set dropdown to CDMA EVDO/LTE - Auto

you can also do it from the settings menu

Menu - settings-wifi and network - mobile network - network mode

Switch to the other option, say you have cdma/lte, switch to cdma, or vice versa. Then switch back, if so desired.

I had to do a reset by removing battery, reinstall battery. Boot up by pressing vol Dan button while pushing per button. White info screen pops up then hit reset. Had to do it this way cuz boot loop wouldn't give me time to get to dialer or settings. Second time it started boot loop VZW replaced battery and did reset. Good so far. Time consuming to reinstall apps but Google acct has the list of what was installed.

I have had this same problem - Verizon replaced my phone for this (and now occurring on the replaced (refurb) phone). What is the issue? Can I not set it to CDMA only (which I do to save power)?

you can set it to cdma only if so desired.
