Hello everyone,
I have finally updated to jelly bean and I must say I've now love my phone. At this moment I didn't have to do a factory reset everything that I had on my phone is still on my phone my notes everything. So far so good for me.
I have heard so many negative remarks about jelly bean and its what kept me from updating my phone I was literally terrified because of all the issues that everyone was having with there phones WiFi the emails etc cetera et cetera. Now I'm not saying I won't have any problems in the future and come running to you guys for help because I'm sure I will. But for right now I am blissfully happy with my phone and its new features. All the bad press that jelly bean is getting all the hate mail that's going out. How many out there are truly happy with jelly bean? Maybe you had a few minor problems but nothing too serious that you want to throw your phone in the middle of traffic or drowned in the nearest Lake. How many people are truly happy with the jelly bean? The reason I'm posting this thread is so that when new people come looking up jelly bean and it's what not they won't go away terrified to update their phone! :-)

So where are all my happy jelly beaners at?

Count me in. My phone is unrooted, running stock 4.1.2. I side loaded the JB Christmas Eve leak as soon as it was released. I updated to the 16 build on March 7. I've had no problems during this whole time. WiFi has stayed connected. I'm very happy with the Moto debloat.

Switching from my trusted GNEX with 4.2.2 to this, I've been extremely happy with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 on the Maxx. Battery is still exceptional, home screens s and menu's run buttery smooth, and everything seems a lot faster then 4.0.3.

JB has been totally fine for me!

Hi Ms Charli...my son is quite happy with JB on his Maxx, but truly isn't much of a cell techie It just works for him and that's all he cares about.

That's probably true for thousands of JB folks...mostly the people that come to the forums for the first time are those that have miseries, frequently self-induced! A different Operating system works...ummm...differently and unless they have looked up the Changelog and begun to study how to use the new one and read up on forums to see other experiences, it'll be a long haul.

Looking forward to it on my Bionic!

Made it! I'm happy and quite pleased with the shifting of some software and deletions of others. Only missed software was the weather app/widget which i liked and was easily remedied with another downloaded. Had none of the problems other's have had as i actively clear cahes, turn on and off my phone weekly.
The battery has listed a bit toward being used more, so less up time up, though i expected it with google's new search and location activities; i'm always on, except wi-fi and BT until required and am a heavy user: call, email, texts, videos, couple games... it's my laptop on the go.
All in all it's a great upgrade! Why hesitate?
Peace

im very happy, even better batt life than before and i never had to reset anything. Just installed it right over the top of ics

No problem with mine. After a little familiarization & tweaking it's near perfect for me.

I've had zero problems.

I think it's human nature to post more when you need help and/or have a complaint.

I'm mourning this phone's novelty decline, it means less activity on the forum.

It's still the best phone on the market as far as I'm concerned. No need or interest to look at anything else. It does everything I need and more

This. The few with problems are understandably unhappy with some things and that holds for every upgrade. In comparison I'd venture to say that there were fewer grunts & groans with JB than any other of recent comparable changeovers. Satisfied owners tend to go happily living their lives oblivious to the relatively few with issues and those, you hear little from.

I love my Razr Maxx on JB. So much so that I finally convinced my dad to get one (upgrading from a Droid 2 which basically had to be on a charger all day). Now he won't stop texting me to let me know that his phone is still alive at 50% after days without charging.

Though I must admit I'm considering moving onto something new. This phone is the best I've had to date, but the completely irrational need for new tech is starting to kick in.

This was my battery stats last night after almost 37 hours. During the uptime there was moderate call time, significant web browser, email use & other online activities and on wifi virtually constant. I also have Google Now running & have all Google location services enabled. I couldn't ask for better battery performance.

I'm loving the new update as well. The phone seems a bit smoother... not quite as buttery as the gnex I gave to the wife, but it's not bad at all. Battery still impresses. I don't think I could ever go to another phone with a puny battery. Hopefully Motorola will come out with another awesome phone with a great battery and a good camera. Camera is really my only complaint with this phone.

I did notice how the phone reacts too its very responsive and It's much smoother. Now all they need is one around the size of the Samsung galaxy note 2 with this battery or better little faster gigahertz, super amoled screen, cool transitions and more storage and we would be good to go it would be a true business phone. Lol am I dreaming too big! MAXIMIZE
