I only have that I am using and it's going to have a new sim card how do i transfer the data

I joined a new isp and they sent me a sim card but how do I back up and restore old data

Welcome to Android Central! An ISP is an Internet Service Provider, which is a company that provides internet service to your house. They usually aren't your wireless mobile phone carrier as well (although in some cases they will bundle it, like Xfinity in the US). So do you mean your wireless carrier sent you a new SIM card?

Do you still have your previous phone, or did you get a new phone? If you still have your previous phone and it's still supported by your carrier, then you should be able to swap the old SIM card with the new one. Your data will remain unchanged on your phone.

Which device you have ?
Did you back things up through cloud services or phone back up utility?
