I purchased a game but its not downloading, what do I do?

i purchased a game but its not downloading

After i get a confirmation that my payment was received it started to show downloading but not getting any percent. My internet connection is good and I am using Samsung S5. If i restart my phone will it stop the download? Im worried i already made the payment.

Hello. If you bought it from the Google Play Store it will always be available to download from the Play Store app, or via a pc.
I would say it is safe to restart. Before that search for the game in Settings - General - Applications Manager - All, though it's unlikely to show.
Also check in that app list that Download Manager is enabled.
Before and after restart go to the Play Store app - My Apps and see if it has an Install button ready to install.

If you are downloading from a site other than Play Store, you may need to enable the setting in Security - Device Administration - Unknown Sources, which lets you download from other than Play Store, at your risk (Amazon and one or two others are safe).

Also while you have the device off before re-trying, it would be a good idea to wipe the cache partiition in Recovery Mode, a quick house clearance with the available hardware buttons.
