I put memory in phone, still tells me there is none. What?

I put memory in phone, still tells me there is none.

I have a new phone. I put an 8 megabyte SD card in it but it still telling me that I don't have enough memory to download apps and games.

What phone do you have? Apps and games download to your phone internal memory and not the external sd card. Are you sure the card you installed is not 8 gigs?
