I really could use a release notification

AC probably does not want to here this due to all the forum love they would miss out on, but I would LOVE a service where I could sign up to get a text message as soon as the Nexus releases. It is interfering with my life to wonder every hour is I need to check AC and the forums because I may be missing something.

Some programmer should get on that. I would pay a buck or two for it.

Off topic and general discussion is pretty much the same so these threads are in the correct place. When the phone is released it will be all over the front page and in here also. You can sign up with Google and Verizon to receive emails about the nexus.

I have signed up for all of the emails, but the only thing I seem to get from Samsung is spam.

Also, I apologize you feel this is off topic. I do not mean to go off topic. Seemed relevant since everyone is discussing the release.

I know it is just a phone, but I love my toys, and I am seriously annoyed with my OG Droid. I can't even play with it anymore without a malfunction. I am also the mother to two small children, so I don't get out much.

So, I will continue to check the AC front page numerous times a day.

I don't think you were off topic. These forums have become congested with the most useless garbage possible. You have to dig around piles of junk posts to make sure that you don't miss an actual bit of valid information. Someone talked to a rep, someone dropped some acid and their dog turned into a genie and told them it would be released on >>>>>>>>, their husband took two viagra and started speaking in tongues (take it anyway you want to) and told her the secret of life and also the release date.

I wish that there could be just one mod controlled thread that would 1) be sticky, and 2) when Verizon issues a news release it would be posted there so that we would only have to check one thread and not go through all this garbage.

Don't you just love the people who go into threads and complain on the people complaining. If someone wants to rent a phone who cares. The only ones who seem to care about other people "renting" phones are sales weasels that work for Verizon.

Hah that is an utter joke.. to get an email 14 hours after store opening saying they now have *insert phone name* available.. didn't get Droid razer email until 9 that night
