My phone was 2.2.2 and i rooted it...
Then i updated my phone to gingerbread 2.3.3
it wont connect to my computer using a usb...
Im trying to install xionia recovery but im havin a hard time
can someone plzzz help me out???

Visit LG s website and get all of the appropriate drivers for your computer. It doesn't recognize your phone without them

Did you reboot your computer after the install? Might help. After that I'm stumped

Silly me, ii didntt try restarting my computer but imma try tomorrow...and did try restarti my phone...ill keep you all updated on what happens.

Yea it's way to much trouble than it should be to get the drivers to work right on your computer.

Ok so got my phone updated to gingerbread 2.3.3 but everything is stocked even the recovery, wattdo it do next....step by step plz....

ii rooted my phone before ii updated it to ginger bread 2.3.3 but ii dontt see super user anymore but ii see gingerbreak still but it wontt let me root my phone...

Look at the sticky at the top of this page for the root process for gingerbread. You need to root it again.

when u upgrade to gingerbread you need the optimus s gingerbread drivers thats what i did go to the lg website for the driver for your computer and for xionia jyst follow the thread in the sticky on how to install it
