my Dinc really the only advantage i notice is the free tethering. What should i do to really notice the reason i did this. I already did ad blocker and stuff but what am i missing.

You can check the hacks section for application you can use along with other roms, radios, and kernels.

I kinda like the overclocked kernel, the custom ROMs, nandroid, and Titanium Backup.

But that's just me...

+1 for Titanium Backup - that saves quite a lot of time - even if you don't pay for it and have to restore everything one by one....

shakeme is a good screen cap app as well

Autostarts - you can disable apps from loading on startup and for other events.
IncrediLight - use LED flashes as a flash light
DroCap2 - take screenshots on your phone
Nose Candy - cut and snort digital lines of coke (oh wait, you don't need root for that :p)

Wait my question is you rooted and don't know why you should root? Then why did you root???

You can try low power kernels to save some battery, overclocked kernels to unleash some speed, Froyo ROMs to unleash some more, Vanilla if you don't like sense, sense ROMs with uneeded apps removed, removed only the apps you know you don't need (IE cityid, facebook, widgets, stock mail etc) ,custom themes, hacks, titanium backup, screen capture programs, the ability to do ANYTHING you want on your phone......the list goes on.

If I was you I would spend some time reading a few different forums and read the exact how's and why's on rooting, flashing radios, kernels, and mods before you end up with a $500 paperweight. Not a bash on you in particular rsk2mc, but one button roots are great in opening up the possibilities to many people. But all we end up with are people breaking things they can't fix. So PLEASE READ READ READ, before you do ANYTHING ELSE! The Devs don't put together forums, wiki's, and readme's for the fun of it. Don't just read the first page and go, "SWEET I'm going to flash that!!" Read or at least scan the entire thread and see what kinds of issue people are having, how they are fixing those problems, and make a good decision if you are willing to take the risk. (Namely radios) And before you go any further boot into clockworkmod recovery and make a nandroid backup so you have something stock to restore to should your kernel or ROM experiments go wonky on you!
