I spoke too soon! I'm stuck on the M!!!

Downloaded the new update yesterday and the phone has been great. Been bragging on it to you all. Just now it locked up so I powered it off. Now it won't boot up, stuck on the M. What do you suggest?

OK, battery pull seemed to have fixed it. Whew..................phone is my lifeline at work, without it i'm dead in the water.
