Android Police Seems to think so too->Samsung Says The Sprint Galaxy S5 Should Be Getting Its Android 4.4.4 OTA (G900PVPU1ANI4) Now

I checked for updates, nothing yet for me.

install Kies 3.0 on your PC, it will install the lastest firmware for you without having to wait for the OTA

That would work if Kies didn't say my firmware was already current.

Does this confirm it is on for sure? I think so! I got this back when tweeting asking where the specific version was.

my sprint s5 is a little over a month old. how important is this update and has it been debugged on any other device?

I tried Kies last night, no luck. Asked Sprint and Samsung on Twitter, got no response. Please reply if you get info!

I just tried to update my s5 on my phone again Settings < System Update < Update now and it says, "Unable to update software. A network or server error occurred." Has anyone successfully downloaded 4.4.4? Sunday 10/05/2014 11:30 am Eastern Time USA Also, I have started a group for Gs5 users to get things like this and bugs and fixes for the Gs5 specifically all in one place. I hope you check it out.

Just looked and any mention of the update has disappeared from Samsung's site. Guess we are screwed...

Just looked out of curiosity and now Samsung's site says its supposed to 4.4.4 again, but with a different build number G900PVPU1ANJ1...Haven't seen that one before???

They probably had a fart with the update. Maybe some folks were reporting issues and they had to change it. AT&T does this sometimes too, even when there isn't any report of problems. Keep an eye on their site for updates as this can take some time depending on what the issue is.

Good question, Lollipop drops early next month to the Nexus devices, I wouldn't complain if Sprint had Lollipop ready for our S5 then instead of pushing 4.4.4.
