I think I bricked it. Help!!!

I flashed the wrong recovery to my phone and now I get the LG logo and then a black glowing screen nothing else. I have tried the emergency methods and got no response from my phone. I cannot locate the kdz file anywhere on the internet to restore it, it appears all the links no longer work. I can get to were I enter my ESN etc but for the SW link in the source code I only see global/global and no file listed. It is rooted, but adb doesn't recognize the connection. I can see the files that are on my phone through my computer so it does connect through usb somehow. I need my phone for work tomorrow. I can't believe I screwed it up this bad. Can anyone help? I don't care if I lose all the data. I just need a working phone.

It sounds more like you flashed a V9 ROM and you have the new LCD.

If that is the case, your phone is functional, you can use the touch screen exit the lock screen, etc., except there just isn't any visual feedback.

Can you boot into recovery?

Power Down

Press and Hold [Power] [Vol Dn] [Home]

Install this to your computer and see if you can get your phone to run on your computer. Using your computer you should be able to see your phone screen. That's the hope anyway. Based on what you are saying you should wait until the black glowing screen shows up, then from there you should be able to figure out the rest. Good Luck!

I agree with sfhub. If you flashed a V9 Rom, you have a phone, but It is not fully functional. If you can get into recovery, you should be able to Hard Reset the Phone and wipe the data. Just hold down the keys until you see the LG logo, then let go.
