I think I have a virus from Google Chrome, how can I get rid of it?

I think I have a virus from google chrome.

Google chrome pops open saying my device is under threat from 4 viruses. Sometimes google play store opens but I think that's just my phone playing up. I have installed AVG anti-virus and Avast and both said im completely virus free.
What else can I do and do I have a virus or not?
