I think i Soft Bricked my phone

to update rooted gingerbread , well i follwed all the steps and it went fine but when i try ed to download apps from the market it would download them but during the install the phone would reboot every time i even tryed turning off fast boot , still nothing so i decided to try and restore my original rooted stock ROM and when i was clearing the cache , boot , image , data , davlic chace , i accidentally wiped system

and now i can not get anyrom to flash i got clockwork mod on there in recovery when i go to install i rom i get the error source code 7 (failed to open) temp/boot.img so i been searching and trying somethings to get this fixed now i know i am not completely bricked because i still have a recovery i am just wondering can somone tell me how to fix this so i can get my phone back on LOL thats all i care about it its been off all day sense it happend when i was at work and had no computer to try and fix it ,

Ok i think i fixed the problem now , i just flashed amon recovery and it installed one of my back ups thank god
