Think I've decided to go with the Note 4, or wait on the Note 5. I loved the Edge.
But, in the end, I drop my phone. Not a lot, but I do drop it.
I think the fear that I'd smash that beautiful and useful edge up, even with a case, would outweigh it's usefulness to me.
I take a LOT of pix with my phone. Yesterday I actually went back to a graveyard sign to take some tulip pix. lol. Hey, the light was right, never miss a shot. I work with graphics a lot.
I read a review where a guy was fumbling around with the Edge to take pix. On one hand it seemed like that button on the top edge was easier, more like as SLR camera. But when I went to the store yesterday, and played with it more, it was a little cumbersome to use. My hand kept kind of flipping off of the edge part to grip it.
I have decided though that it's time to move up in size and useability from my S4. The Note series seems to offer great things.
While the Edge is an awesome piece of equipment, it may not be for everyone.
I'll probalby wait for the Note 5 just to see.
